OUCH!

Yeah that about explains it. I have been battling these since Sunday. It has been NO FUN to say the least. I find out tomorrow what is going to be done to get rid of them, if anything. If the CT shows they are small I will have to wait for them to pass. If they are a certain size then I will have a procedure done to break them up. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks all.

Dear friends and fellow bloggers...

Well, my mom is finally home from the hospital as of this afternoon. I am staying with her overnight and in to tomorrow. She feels much better, however, she is exhausted. She hasn't had a full nights sleep in six days. She is already in bed. I pray that she is able to rest well and easy tonight.

On another note...I think I have lost my collection of photos that I have taken over the last 4 years! Our computer basically crashed over the weekend! It's like a blank slate! I am crushed. I had been putting off saving them to disk. I have some hard copies, but maybe only a fourth :( If anyone has any magical ideas let me know!

I am counting down the days for school to be out! Only 6 more days with students. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. I have learned many things. I am soooo looking forward to starting my new position in August. It was very difficult starting a teaching position 3/4's of the way in to the year, but I am so blessed that God blessed me in that way. He always knows what is best for us.

Until a later date....

Please Pray...

for my mom. The surgery went well, but the recovery has not! She has had several complications from low calcium levels, to choking on anything liquid, to no voice. We are praying that she will be going home Wednesday. She was only supposed to stay overnight and this has turned in to a week ordeal. It has been a rough road to say the least. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

How things can change...

Well things have been Okay at the Brown household. We've officially ALL been sick in a period of three months. I am just getting over strep, after mistaking it for the flu for 3 days. That can be a setback when antibotics could've been introduced earlier. I've been able to catch up on Maury Povich and now I know who the real father is of little Suzy...he he. OK I only watched one episode, it was so amusing.

I have a different teaching position for next year! No more driving between schools. I will be teaching at Crooked Oak Public Schools. Crooked Oak is in OKC but not part of OKCPS. I will also be JH Cheer sponsor. How's that for fun. I know some of you would not wish that on your worst enemy, but I've actually enjoyed it in the past. Oh and I will still be teaching my little Special Needs kiddos, most likely 1st and 2nd graders.

So the reason I have time to blog today is because I am sitting in the Baptist Hospital waiting room. My mom had her Thyroid removed today after the Dr. found several nodules; one most likely cancerous :( The surgery went well and I am currently waiting to go back. I was so uplifted by her friends who came to be with her and pray with her before the surgery. They all stayed until the surgery was successfully completed. I am so happy that she has been blessed with such nice friends since she has joined Quail.

Well I'm going to run and get a bite to eat.....
